I usually avoid decaf because it tastes flat, but the syrupy dark chocolate and molasses notes here are incredibly bold and satisfying. This is the first decaf that actually lets you taste the roast.

After two cups I had to double-check the bag to be sure it was actually decaf. The syrupy dark chocolate taste is exactly what I'd expect from a good dark roast, with none of that watery finish. My evening coffee ritual is saved.

The dark chocolate and molasses notes really come through even with all that heavy roast, which is exactly what I hoped for. It's surprisingly smooth for a decaf, and I don't feel like I'm missing out on flavor at all.
