I was pleasantly surprised by how the cherry note rounds out the cocoa and almond without being too fruity. Pulled a shot that was smooth with a nice crema.

The cocoa and almond flavors hit first, then that subtle cherry finish comes through without being too sweet. Ground some for my morning latte and it had a nice complexity I usually only get from pricier single-origin beans.

I was skeptical about the cherry hint, but it's subtle enough to add a nice twist without overpowering the rich almond and cocoa. Makes a smooth morning latte that even my traditionalist dad enjoyed.
