I brewed a cup this morning and the roasted almond notes really come through nicely, with none of that bitter edge some dark roasts have. The finish is surprisingly smooth for a French roast, almost sweet and earthy.

That first sip hit me with dark chocolate richness that carried right through to a warm, earthy finish. It’s smooth enough to drink black, which is exactly what I wanted for my morning cup.
