Pulled a shot this morning and the cocoa notes came through exactly as promised, with just a hint of citrus on the finish. Brewed it as a pour-over later and it held up just as well, full-bodied without turning bitter.

Checked the bag—roasted just two weeks ago, which explains the bright citrus notes cutting through the rich cocoa. Tastes smooth as a French press or drip, exactly what I wanted for mornings.

Finally, a coffee that actually tastes as good from my French press as it does from the drip machine. The cocoa and caramel notes come through perfectly without any bitterness, even with a dark roast level.
