I wasn't sure what to expect from an African coffee, but this Burundi is incredibly smooth with a gentle apple note that makes it perfect for my morning mug. The molasses sweetness adds just enough depth without being heavy.
The apple note really shines through without being tart, and the smooth body makes it dangerously easy to drink a whole mug before it cools. I'm impressed at how the molasses sweetness balances the dried apricot finish. Perfect morning coffee for when you want something complex without any bitternes
