Eye of the Tiger Espresso - 5 lb zak

Pulled a double shot this morning and the crema was thick and rich, with this amazing almond note that balanced the plum-like fruitiness perfectly. The 5 lb bag is definitely the way to go for daily espresso drinkers.

The plum and orange fruitiness really comes through on the finish, which makes it stand out from most espresso blends I've tried. My only gripe is that the 5 lb bag is a bit much if you're not pulling shots daily, but the beans stayed fresh for weeks in an airtight container.

The creamy almond notes give it a smooth body that pairs nicely with milk drinks. My only small wish is that the fruity orange flavor it mentions came through a bit more clearly in the final cup.
